Patch 1.1 of Neverness to Everness goes live globally at June 3, 2026, 03:00 UTC. It is the first major content patch since launch, and the structure tells you something about Perfect World's roadmap. There are two new limited S-tier characters, a brand new permanent region, a high-profile Porsche collaboration, and a social feature called Beika Notes that nobody is talking about but which will quietly shape how the community discovers content for the rest of the year. Below is a frank read on what's worth your time.
The two characters dominate the conversation, but for different reasons. Lacrimosa, releasing in Phase 1, is a Dark / Chaos main DPS built around a Nightmare DOT stack system: normal attacks accumulate stacks, ultimate detonates them. CN beta runs put her in the top tier for solo damage in the current Anomaly Raid roster, and her 21-day banner window gives F2P players a reasonable shot at hitting soft pity. Chaos, releasing in Phase 2, is more specialized — a Lakshana-element enforcer from the E.T.D. 6th Platoon with a crime-charge mechanic that snowballs into heavy follow-up attacks. His banner is only fourteen days, which is unusually short and is probably a deliberate scarcity tactic by Hotta to drive impulse pulls. If you can only afford one of the two, the math favors Lacrimosa: more time, more event income to accumulate, and a more universally useful kit.
The Porsche 918 Spyder collab is the loudest part of the patch and the most misunderstood. It is a sequential pull system that caps at fifteen pulls with escalating costs per pull — not a character pity. There is no rerun. F2P players can hit the early pulls comfortably with the free 20-pull voucher and the 9,200 Annulith of version income, but the guarantee at pull fifteen is genuinely expensive. We have a dedicated calculator that walks through whether the math works for your stash. The short version: the Porsche is a cosmetic vehicle, not a combat unit, and skipping it does not reduce your endgame strength.
Sunlit Island is the most underrated 1.1 addition. It is the first new permanent region since launch, with around thirty chests, nine mystery records, three new co-op activities and an anomaly boss that drops the new region's signature Arc. Permanent content rewards Annulith and materials that stay with your account regardless of which banners you skip. For F2P players grinding the Porsche banner specifically, the Sunlit Island chest sweep is the single best source of Annulith in the first ten days of the patch — better than open-world dailies in Hethereau because nothing on the island has been swept by your prior playthroughs.
Beika Notes is the feature nobody is hyping but will change how the community works. It is an in-game photo-and-text sharing system tied to a "Beika Jam" currency you earn through engagement. Functionally, it is Xiaohongshu and Instagram inside the client. If history with other gacha titles holds, Beika Notes will become the primary distribution channel for community guides, mystery-record solutions and team-comp screenshots, replacing external wikis and Discord channels for casual players. Set up a profile early — engagement compounds, and early creators on these systems tend to keep an outsized share of the discovery surface.
Your first 72-hour priority order
Hour 0 to 6: redeem the three preview codes for 300 free Annulith, clear the 1.1 main story to unlock Sunlit Island, sweep the island chest cluster on the loop walk before other content. Hour 6 to 24: spend daily stamina on Lacrimosa material farming, not on the island anomaly boss yet. Hour 24 to 72: pull Lacrimosa with whatever stash you have; pulls beyond fifteen on her banner are statistically wasteful unless you already own her, so commit early to a budget. Open the Porsche calculator on this site and pre-plan which pulls you'll use Fons versus Annulith for — that decision is much easier to make before you're three pulls in and second-guessing yourself.
