About NTE Strategy Guide

Last updated: 2026-05-30

NTE Strategy Guide is a small, independent, fan-run reference site for Neverness To Everness (NTE / 异环) — the action RPG published by Perfect World. We built the site we wished existed when the game launched: a single page where the tier list, redeem codes, banner schedule, reroll path, and pull calculator all live together, in English, 中文, and 日本語, without 60 seconds of pre-roll video to sit through.

Why this site exists

NTE launched globally in 2026 with a fragmented information landscape: tier opinions buried in Reddit threads, redeem codes scattered across YouTube descriptions, banner schedules locked behind Chinese-only data-mining channels. A new or returning player who just wanted to answer "who should I pull?" had to spend an hour hunting. This site centralizes the answers.

Who runs it

The site is built and maintained by a solo developer based in Malaysia. I've been playing gacha RPGs for about a decade — Honkai Star Rail, Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero — and put around 200 hours into NTE during CBT and the first month of global launch, including a hard-clear of the launch Anomaly Raid roster on a free-to-play account. I am not a paid content creator and the site does not accept sponsorships, affiliate links, or paid placement in the tier list.

How the tier list is built

Tier placement is not based on a single person's opinion. For each character we look at four signals and weight them roughly equally:

Raid clear-time data

How fast the top 100 leaderboard teams clear the current Anomaly Raid with that character on the team. Source: in-game ranking, sampled weekly.

Damage simulation

Closed damage formula simulations at consistent gear levels and signature-weapon assumptions, so a P/F2P comparison is fair.

Community consensus

Tracked across the official NTE Discord meta channel, the CN bilibili tier discussions, and the JP wiki. Outliers get flagged, not averaged.

Versatility

Does the character only shine in one team comp, or do they slot into multiple endgame setups? Multi-comp utility raises a placement.

Where these four signals disagree (e.g. a character with great raw numbers but no team fit), we explain the disagreement on the tier-list page rather than picking one arbitrarily.

We re-evaluate the full list after every major patch (roughly every 6 weeks) and do a smaller pass after each new character release. The "Last updated" date on the tier-list page always reflects the most recent revision.

How redeem codes are sourced

Codes come from official Perfect World livestreams, the NTE official X/Twitter and Weibo accounts, in-game mail announcements, and verified Discord drops. We test every code on the global client before marking it ACTIVE. Codes are usually checked daily.

How the pull calculator works

The calculator uses the published banner rates (0.6% base 5★, 50/50 featured rate, soft pity starting at 73, hard pity at 90 for standard 5★ banners; weapon banner uses 0.7% base / 80 hard pity / 75% fate-bound) and runs a Monte Carlo simulation in your browser. Numbers shown are the probability of hitting your target with the pull budget you enter. No data leaves your device.

Languages

Every page is available in English, Simplified Chinese (中文), and Japanese (日本語). Translations are done by the operator and reviewed for game-specific terminology against the localization used in the respective official client. If you spot a mistranslation, email us — fixes go live within a day.

How to support the site

We do not run a Patreon or accept donations. The only revenue is non-intrusive Google ads at the top and between sections. If you find the site useful, the best thanks is sharing a link with a friend who just started playing.
